Where to Now?

Day 10: Elma to Raymond Today's Distance: 76 miles Total Distance: 441 miles I woke up today not knowing exactly where I was going, but I knew I planned to crush it.  I wish I had some time to frolf, but not today.  So instead I had a nice long stretch and went to grab some breakfast and a coffee at a local diner. I overheard some teenage kid saying to his dad, "But I could've shot that bear, I don't know why you stopped me!"  What?  Like for fun?  I don't get it.  Anyways, I was ready to get out of this town and frankly I'm ready to get out of  these small Washington towns as a whole.  My stretch goal was to make it into Astoria, Oregon today which would mean I would need to put in at least a 90 mile day.  If my book isn't lying to me again, the terrain seems pretty flat so I definitely think it's possible.  I jumped on the highway 12 and started flying. Day 9: Dosewallips State Park to Elma Today's Distance: 65 miles Total Distance: 365 miles Last night I slept like a baby until around 4am and then it was super cold again and I was uncomfortable and didn't really sleep for the next few hours. I checked the weather and it was around 43 degrees.  Finally when it warmed up a little, instead of getting ready and jumping on my bike, instead I went back to sleep for another couple of hours. Haha I give up, I'm just not a morning person.  Frankie however was packed up and gone about 3 hours before me.  When I finally did get going, the weather was great.  Most of the first part of the ride was through the forest and there was a little shoulder and a big ditch to the right...not a lot of room for error.  When it opened up, the views were beautiful, and leaves were falling from the trees  as I rode alongside the Hood Canal.    I got to this little town or community called Eldon.
